Torn Off & Broken Apart  The shield rim fittings from the Thorsberg and Nydam moors were violently torn from the shields and broken into fragments. Pried Off & Damaged  Many shield bosses from the Thorsberg and Nydam moors display a pronounced wavelike deformation of the rim.
